Hello Greg,
I had spoken with Sgt Polk at the Separation and Discharge (703-784-9306) at Quantico VA a few weeks
ago but at that time I had no info as to when he had served in the military.
I found a bio of Sam online stating that he had left for Marine boot camp 2 weeks after he graduated
from high school. So I called Sgt Polk back this morning but she was gone for today. I talked to Sgt Cline
and I gave this new info about when he may have enlisted. Again Sam was looked up in their system and
was not found. She stated that if I had his birthdate or time frame that he had served and I called the
Locator Services at Quantico, VA (1-800-268-3710) they could send me something as proof that he was
not a Marine. I will request this info based on his entry date being within 2 weeks of high school, June
1967. I thought you may want to request the same. If you can share his birthdate with me I can add that
to my request but if you'd rather not I understand that also.
Thanks, Ronda Watson

Hello Greg,
This morning I talked to Cathy with the Honorary Kentucky Colonel memberships department. She
looked up Samuel Faulkner and said she had nobody listed with that name. I told her he spelled it
Coronal and she said that if he was truly a commissioned Kentucky Colonel he would know how to spell
it. She also said that the sitting Govenor is the only one to bestow this honor and he would have a
certificate from the Govenor to prove it. She also said that if he says he lost it, he can get it replaced by
providing them with the commission date of the certificate, but she has no record ever of Samuel
Faulkner being an active or inactive Kentucky Colonel.

Hello,
I forgot to send you the trial exhibit list from my friends trial. Faulkner's opinion is listed at the bottom of
the second page. It was not admitted into trial because he admitted he had lied and hadn't read all of the
evidence provided to him but only had read the deputies deposition to come to his conclusion.
After I read the deposition that I sent you yesterday, it appears that he didn't read the evidence provided
with that case either.
Thanks,
Ronda

begins on page 27.
In the Honors portion of all of his resumes he is listed as being an Honorary Kentucky Coronel. Did he
mean colonel? I'm quite sure that anyone that really was a marine knows how to spell colonel.
All of his resumes claim he went to Paris not Parris Island.

I have sent you the 6 resumes that I had found so far and 2 depositions. I also have other info like his
case list that shows all the states he has consulted or testified in. I think they were all in 6 states, mainly
Ohio and WV if you would like to see them also, just let me know.
I do want to apologize, hopefully I didn't ruin your day with my news. That wasn't my intent but I do want
justice for my friend.
Please let me know what you find out or what you think after reading these documents and if you have
any questions please call or email me.
Thanks again for your time,

Greg,
I was hoping that I would get a reply from you concerning the information that I had sent to you a few
months ago. I do understand that you are busy with your real job but would truly appreciate a response.
I received an email yesterday concerning Sam that I will share with you.
I spoke with an attorney who knows a lot of people in law enforcement. He knows Samuel D. Faulker. He
says Faulkner was an instructor at the Ohio Peace Officers Academy for some time, then retired and
became police chief in Mechanicsburg, Ohio, a village of 1,600.

He said Faulkner became a popular expert in use-of-force issues in the early '90s and many felt that the
money and attention went to his head and that he had a penchant to exaggerate.

The attorney knew about many of the positions Faulkner lists on his resume, but he said never heard
about his purported exploits as a Marine. He said that surprised him, because cops usually love to talk
about their military background if they have any. He said he couldn't say those claims are untrue but he
did find them to be suspicious.

I called Mechanicsburg City Hall on Nov 8th, 2013 and left a message for Mayor Greg Kimball to return
my call. I received a cell-phone call Nov 12, 2014 from the mayor.
I asked the mayor if he had done a background check on Sam Faulkner when he hired him as Chief of
Police. He said he didn't because he had known him so long he didn't think it necessary to look into his
resume.
I explained that my friend, Rob Webb was killed by law enforcement on July 4, 2006 and a civil trial was
held in 2011 in WV. The defense use of force expert witness, Sam Faulkner, testified that he would have
shot sooner.  I began researching Faulkner's background and credentials and I found personal resumes
and civil depositions that contradicted each other and suggested to me that Samuel Faulkner was not
exactly who he claimed to be. Being interested in the information being discussed, he provided me with
his email address to send him court documents relating to Faulkner.
I attached and emailed 8 court documents to Mayor Kimball on Nov 12, 2013. I received two emails
stating he had received the documents I had attached and he would look over them and keep me
advised. In Feb I emailed him the last time and received no reply.
Instead, in December 2013 the mayor gave Faulkner an ultimatum to either avoid the embarrassment to
the city and retire or be fired.
The mayor was not okay with his police chief being a fraud and he relieved him of his duty but he
Is it not ok for the mayor to have a fraud as a police chief but it's of that Faulkner retires to continue
serving as an expert witness in cases throughout the country. Greg Kimball should have publically fired
Faulkner and turned over information to the courts about concerns for the hundreds of cases that he
would have tainted because of fraud.
If the Mayor considered the information I sent him enough to release him from his duty as police chief
why would he be morally ok letting Faulkners departure slide unnoticed and given the send off as a real
retirement and not an ultimatum either being fired or retiring? The mayor would have known of Sam
Faulkners side business as posing as an expert witness that he only testifies for law enforcement, a bias
in and of itself.

It appears that the mayor gave Faulkner an ultimatum in Dec 2013 to either retire or be fired.
Greg Kimball knew Sam was a fraud when he "retired" effective Dec 27. Your article stated that Faulkner
was planning to continue serving as an expert witness in cases throughout the country. Where is Mayor
Kimball's moral obligation to right this injustice when he had knowledge of Faulkner's background.
He should have publically fired Faulkner and turned over information to the justice system about their
concerns for the hundreds of cases that Faulkner would have tainted because of his testimony.
Or is that the motive for Faulkner's background being swept under the town hall rug while he quietly
retires?

I talked to Mayor Greg Kimball on Nov 12, 2014. I explained that my friend, Rob Webb was killed by law
enforcement on July 4, 2006 and his Police Chief Sam Faulkner testified in the civil trial held in 2011 as
the defense use of force expert.  And at the conclusion of the trial I began researching Faulkner's
background and credentials and I found personal resumes and civil depositions that were contradictory
and suggested to me that Samuel Faulkner was not exactly who he claimed to be. I inquired if there had
been a background check done before hiring him. He replied no he didn't think it necessary to look into
his resume.
