I'm sure the police won't give a damn whether you call them for help or not..... NO--the scary part is that he is 100% right--I would never call the police in this area for protection! oh yeah to that other poster. YES that child would have been killed the night her father was if she had been outside. They came in like two terrists. spelled wrong but you will UNDERSTAND.

I have a responsibility to do these things Mr. Sheep. Now go back and read the previous post and try to put two brain cells together for a coherent answer. Dobermans and Pit Bulls are all the same. Just mindless, trained attack vessels. You really hurt my feelings by saying that the Dobermans don't give a damn if I call or not. What kind of lame answer is that? Some of us don't roll over as easy as you jack booted thugs would like. America was founded by people who don't take shit and just want to be left alone. I'm sorry for you but that spirit has not been totally destroyed like you wish. Deal with it revenue agent. I'm finished discussing this matter.
203. a citizen - Hey, dogman, I didn't say NOT to protect yourself. Every gun-toting nutcase thinking it's OK to shoot first is another thing. I own guns, my family always has. My kids know how to handle them properly and are respectful of them. They know gun laws and safety. I am not a damn fool just because I try to obey the law and honor the constitution. Maybe you should try reading the Bill of Rights before you spout off about what your rights really are. I love how you jackasses always say "I'm finished discussing this matter as if that will deter the rest of us from speaking our minds. This country was founded by people who wanted a better way of life, not a bunch of thoughtless, lawless Barbarians running loose and wreaking havoc. If someone infringes are your rights, you'll be back online pontificating about how the law didn't do enough for you. Same crap, different day.

Its law to have a valid sticker and even though you think its bs, its to keep unsafe junkers off the road that could endanger safety. Also, it is your right to bear arms. But that right can be taken away if your not responsible with your firearms. And please by all means never contact police ever again. You obviously don't need their help since your a one man army. You have such an ego, I bet in reality your out of shape and couldn't fight your way out of a paperbag. But you got that gun dontcha. Better be sure you never point it at someone real like me. It'll be the last time you ever do.

Situational awareness is my mantra and I don't mess with folks and don't want to be messed with. As far as nut cases with guns? Apply that term to someone else. I'm not a gun heavy trigger happy public servant and don't live in fear of a loss of my right to defend myself. I would just as soon drag a blade across the femoral artery than play patty cake with an attacker. I can improvise a defense effectively. Without a firearm you're dead in the water.

You see this event happened five years ago this past July, so is your prediction a whopping failure or are you going to try and say that you meant five MORE years from now.

You get off on killing not me. I know persons life is nothing more than a paper target when you're "trained." What's funny is the rant you spin off on lecturing about junk vehicles and safety. WTF? I could care less about traffic stops. But it's quite clear you do more of that than address real problems. Unless your killing people of course.

216. Duty - Seriously ? This guy deserved to get shot? There are about 4 ways to handle this situation other than lethal. I think one officer made a mistake and the other is scared to say so. This guy (celebration guy) was harmless and everyone new it. He should have been taken in and fined. I doubt very seriously if he posed a threat. I would think the officers should be investigated thoroughly and if innocent of wrong doing cleared. I hope there won't be a cover up. Society is tired of it. This happened at home amongst the people we have to live with. It isn't a war zone were you obliterate the enemy. Citizens need to conduct themselves properly as do Officers. If we were all killed for doing something stupid it would be a small population indeed. Everyone needs to take a heartfelt reality check.

218. duh - The gun was on the guy's shoulder, with a live round in the chamber. He turned with the gun pointed toward the officers. How would you have handled it differently?
219. Pusser - Dobermans: It is obvious, by profiling your language and word structure that you have been in jail, and prior to being incarcerated one or more persons wearing badges had their way with your signifigant other, and maybe mother. One thing to remember: Once that juice goes in, you can't get it out! Good Day!

The reality is I've been in situations where my life was literally on the line. I was very afriad. But my military training kicked in, and I was able to focus on the target. 228. my friend rob - the police said he point at them, also that a bullet was in the chamber and that the safety was not on. They did their own investigation and Danny Moore did not even remember being their until he was cross examined. The judge ruled because of previous case law that they could say that he pointed the gun at them but that was never really proven just what the duties said. If they were so scared why did they not put on their vests. No shots were fired for over an hour. What was the big rush Hajash said on the stand that he thought it was just a naunance (sp) call. Mary's lawyer truly believe she would win but this was not really about money but justice for Rob since the police found themselves not at fault. Remember Rob was shot twice, once when he was on the ground, when hajash was standing over him. Of if you want to believe that he missed twice and then banked the third shot into his chest. If you believe that then you probably believe that Chris Bowling accidently shot his wife in the head. Wonder why hajash is no longer on the force and the paramedic on the sight quit about a week later.
